Exabyte.io is a material science startup which simulates synthetic materials via atom-by-atom crystal lattice grids designed in WebGL 3D environment and combining standard workflow procedures for simulation of lab builds.

Understand and describe the principle users & identify flows.

Interview, understand and describe our principal actors & map their needs to user flows which satisfy those needs. See below examples of working persona sheets, information architecture schema and principal user flow.

Search & Navigation

Particular attention was paid to search and navigation. Including below some examples of an intelligent Smart Search leveraging an exabyte algorithm for scoring and surfacing better materials.
